    German forces in the Netherlands

During the cold war (mid seventies) during an exercise i heard something about German military hospitals in the Netherlands. There was such a facility in Ossendrecht I discovered during an exercise. The buildings were fully equiped as hospital and there were German troops (sanitater ??) active there.

Germany had these units based in the Netherlands (data of 1989). In Ossendrecht were some hospital groups, but they were so-called "Geräteeinheiten" (GerEinh, reserve units) with some few people for maintenance only.

Deutsche Stabs- und Versorgungskompanie HQ AFCENT - Hoensbroek (staff support unit)
Bundeswehrverwaltungsstelle in den Niederlanden - Budel (administrative unit)
    Materialhauptdepot Lieshout (main depot)
Reservelazarettgruppe 801 (GerEinh) - Budel (reserve hospital groups)
    Reservelazarettgruppe 802 (GerEinh) - Ossendrecht
    Reservelazarettgruppe 803 (GerEinh) - Ossendrecht
    Reservelazarettgruppe 804 (GerEinh) - Ossendrecht
    Reservelazarettgruppe 806 (GerEinh) - Ossendrecht
Sanitätsmaterialnachschubzug 7204 (GerEinh) - Budel (medical supply platoon)
    8./Feldjägerbataillon 730 - Budel (military police company)
Luftwaffenausbildungsregiment 2 - Budel (mit I. und II. Bataillon) (air force basic training regiment)
Flugsicherungssektor A/FmRgt 81 - Beek (air traffic control unit)
Amt für Flugsicherung der Bundeswehr/Außenstelle Maastricht (EUROCONTROL) (liaison office)

Forgot to mention: In earlier years also Sanitätsbataillon 110 (medical battalion) was based in Budel

Thanks for the quick answer. Another mystery solved. But what was the role of the German army hospitals in the Netherlands. Was it a pure reserve facility or were they realy ment to become operational when tention raises.
